Help shape Gradually: vote on the product roadmap

See what Gradually is considering, planned, building, and complete. Vote for the improvements that matter most to your college savings planning.

Gradually is being built around the real work of managing college savings: keeping accounts in view, understanding the plan, and revisiting it as life changes. Product priorities focus on repeated points of friction for families using the product.

Gradually's public product roadmap shows what is being considered, planned, in progress, and complete. If you have a Gradually account, you can vote for published improvements and submit an idea when something important is missing.

Your vote is a useful signal

A vote indicates that an improvement would affect someone's planning and helps identify problems shared by several people.

Vote totals do not determine the development order by themselves. Prioritization also considers the problem a feature solves, the people it helps, security and privacy, implementation effort, and how it fits with the rest of the product.

What makes a helpful feature idea

Describe the planning problem, who experiences it, when it appears, and what a better outcome would look like. For example:

  • I have three accounts for one beneficiary and cannot quickly see the total by month.
  • I want to compare a higher contribution with my saved plan without overwriting it.
  • I need to understand how my allocation compares with my glidepath as college gets closer.

How the roadmap works

Published items are visible to everyone. Backlog items are being considered but not scheduled; Planned items are expected work; In progress items are actively being built; and Complete items have shipped. Sign in with your own Gradually account to add or remove a vote on a published item, or filter to see your own votes and ideas.

A new idea stays private while it is reviewed. If it is published, other users can see and vote for the problem too. You can submit up to three ideas per day, which keeps the roadmap useful without discouraging thoughtful feedback.

Keep ideas specific and protect private information

Please do not include account numbers, beneficiary names, balances, Invest529 credentials, or other personal financial information in a suggestion. Describe the situation in general terms instead.

For instance, “I need a way to compare a beneficiary's combined accounts with a contribution goal” is enough to communicate the planning need. No account details are necessary.
