No affiliation

The service is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Virginia529, Invest529, Commonwealth Savers, or any other account or plan provider. Provider names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify relevant accounts or services.

Your relationship with any account or plan provider is between you and that provider. You remain responsible for complying with its terms, including, where you connect an account, those governing the read-only credential you generate for use by third-party software.

No financial advice

The service displays your account balances and produces projections from them. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in it constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment.

Projections are estimates derived from assumptions that are disclosed in the service and that you may change. Those assumptions are not predictions. Even the below-average scenario assumes positive returns, and market losses and college withdrawals are not modeled. Actual costs and actual returns will differ. You should consult a qualified adviser before making any financial decision.

Account information and read-only access

You may enter balances for any college savings plan or other account. Automated synchronization and statement import currently support Invest529 only. Connecting an account is optional. Where you connect an Invest529 account, the service reads account balances. It cannot transfer funds, change investment allocations, or make withdrawals, and it does not request any credential capable of doing so. The service requires only the read-only aggregator credential issued by Invest529 and will never request your primary Invest529 password.

Balances displayed by the service may be incomplete or out of date, including where a synchronization fails, a provider changes its data, or a balance entered manually is not current or accurate. Statements issued by your plan provider are the authoritative record.

Beta service and no warranty

The service is in a beta stage of development. Features may be changed or withdrawn, and access may be interrupted or discontinued, in each case without notice. You should retain your own records rather than rely on the service as a sole record of any information.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launchby.ai LLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of the service, including any decision made in reliance on a projection.

Feature suggestions and voting

You may vote on published roadmap items and submit feature ideas for review. Suggestions are visible only to you and service administrators until they are reviewed. We may edit, publish, decline, archive, or remove a suggestion. Published suggestions do not identify their submitter, and voter identities are not shown; votes are associated internally with an account to enforce one vote per feature.

Do not include account numbers, balances, beneficiary names, Invest529 credentials, or other confidential or personal financial information in a suggestion. If you delete your account, your votes and unpublished suggestions are removed. Published suggestion text may remain on the roadmap after its attribution to your account is removed.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• access the service in respect of any account you are not entitled to view;
• attempt to access the data of any other user;
• interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent any security or rate limiting measure of the service; or
• use the service in a manner that breaches the terms of your plan provider.

We may suspend or terminate access to any account that does not comply with this section.

Privacy

The personal data the service collects, the purposes for which it is processed, and the means of deleting it are described in the privacy notice. You may delete your account from Settings at any time. The privacy notice describes the data that deletion removes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version takes effect on the date shown above. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. This choice does not limit any consumer protection right that cannot be waived under the law that applies where you live.
